PERNA CONSTRUCTION & FLOORING, LLC completed in 2015 an extensive remodel of my home that was wonderful, thorough, timely, and under budget. There are no words what comfort Jacob and his artisan crew brought to this remodeler newbie, but as their skills unfolded I knew these people understood a job well done and this client's needs. I am still in awe. Now 2021 remodel phase II, I only had to look up Perna to find Teresa, Jacob, and their folks still in essence on standby. I am thankful to the Lord that they are.

I can’t begin to tell you how responsive this company is. Wasn’t expecting them until May because they were that far booked out, but after many times trying to find someone to do what I needed they were so kind when I was so desperate and the words “sure we can fix that” were the greatest blessing I was told. I have been blessed by having Theresa and Jacob Perna for various home repair and renovation needs for many years. Their kindness, accountability, and expertise are priceless in these unsettling times.

I had renovations done recently on my 1940 Cape Cod in Ardsley Park, Georgia. After using another general contractor for the previous reno last year and being rather unsatisfied with the entire experience, I decided to look for somebody that I could trust to get the work done efficiently, on time and on budget. After about a month or so of looking, Perna Construction and Flooring popped up on my Facebook feed. I did some research online and looked at his reviews; they were numerous and all very positive. The company specializes in flooring and bathrooms and that’s exactly what I needed so I decided to give Teresa a call. She runs the office and she set up an appointment with her husband, Jacob. I met with him last November; we walked the house; he took pictures; he wrote down everything I said; he listened very carefully; answered my questions if I had them and said that he would get back to me within a couple days with a detailed quote. I found his prices to be extremely reasonable. What really appealed to me was the fact that I knew when the work was going to start and I knew when it was going to be done. I did have some change orders on my original quote but Jacob still got the work done. His crew is amazing! They came in almost every day. When they were working, they were very respectful of my home, my time, and me. They are well-trained, disciplined and excellent craftsmen. They cleaned up after each day’s work; no profanity and hard working. I can’t recommend this company enough!!!!

This is the second job I had Perna construction do for me. The first was a bathroom remodel to include a walk-in shower. This second job was a kitchen remodel. All I can say is WOW! Our experience with Perna was top-notch!! From the very first meeting of Jacob coming to look at our "dream", we could tell this was going to be a great experience. Perna did not disappoint whatsoever! In preparation for our project, Theresa was very patient with the 1,000+ questions that we had and was very quickly responsive to every single inquiry as our dream grew. They pointed us in the right direction for quality materials and people to help us select the items needed for the project. Jacob's crew came to work EVERY day (sometimes 6 days a week) which is very unusual for most construction crews – some just don't show up some days. The crew was always very courteous and professional and cared about our home and wanted to keep our home as neat and in order as was possible during the remodel. Both Josh and Jonathan always kept us informed as to what they were doing and both were a pure joy to be around. They made sure we were 100% satisfied with everything. As surprises came up during the course of the project (such as finding years-old flooring that was buried under current flooring), Jacob was always communicative of the issue found and wanted to make it right so that we wouldn't have the problem to deal with in the future. You certainly cannot go wrong with Perna!!! So very, very pleased.

We had a great experience with Perna Construction! We had subway tiles installed in our kitchen as a backsplash. They were able to schedule us in early and they showed up on time both mornings and completed the job fast. They did a very nice job on the backsplash too.

Recently we had Perna Construction to open up a wall between our living room and dining kitchen area in our home in RH. Also, they completed several odd jobs that we needed. We have lived in our home for over 28 years and during this time we have had various repairs and updates. In November 2017, we purchased a home that needed lots of renovations. Being first time homebuyers, we were so nervous about what we had just gotten ourselves into. Jacob and his team put our minds at ease and exceeded our expectations. They are professional, diligent and fair. When we purchased our home in Midway GA it needed some freshening up. In addition to prepping my floors for new flooring, painting and converting my loft into an enclosed office with 2 windows, they removed the tub/shower in mom's bathroom and replaced it with this beautiful tiled walk in shower.

I was recommended Perna Construction by my neighbor for our kitchen tile and fireplace remodel. I worked with Theresa Perna mostly for estimate and assistance in design and materials. Theresa was always quick to get in touch with me and patient with my indecisiveness. The workers were very nice, arrived on time, flexible with my changes and did a beautiful job. They were kind when I wanted certain tile pieces exchanged in order to gain a more consistent look in the tile scheme. They completed the job on time and cleaned up after themselves. My front porch was in desperate need of repair as it was holding on by faith (literally). The Perna team did an excellent job of replacing the porch in a timely fashion and I couldn't be happier. I'm looking forward to the next project.

We live in an old midtown home. Real old. I literally couldn't stand going into our master bathroom. When we got an estimate from Jacob, it was reasonable, as was the timeline. Though we had to wait about 4 months for construction to start, the wait was totally worth it! Jacob told us it would take 3 weeks work, and it only took 2 weeks and 2 days (and part of that was our fault: a delay in the tile). Bobby and Brad worked on our project and were very punctual, communicative, kind, and considerate of our space. Our dingy old nasty bathroom is beautiful and modernized. The pictures posted (click on photos above) are before and after, though it won't be totally done until tomorrow.

Everything, absolutely everything about Jacob, Vince and his team was absolutely amazing. They were professional, respectful, responsive. They turned our hum drum master bathroom into an amazing oasis. We will definitely be contacting Jacob for future projects.
